Body lift – For the body of your dreams

It is no mystery that our body tissue increasingly loses elasticity over time. It visibly slackens, especially after a pregnancy or a very substantial weight loss, which can cause discontent or even stress. In certain cases, not only individual parts of the body are affected, but the entire trunk area – including belly, pubic mound, buttocks and thighs. With a full-body lift, all of the sagging tissue can be effectively lifted and tightened; excess skin is removed gently and with as little scarring as possible. If necessary, the experienced specialists at Aesthea also combine tightening procedures with liposuction, modelling your body back into the desired shape in a targeted and long-lasting manner. Restore your confidence and feel good again in your own body of your dreams!

What is a so-called “bodylift”?

In a body lift, a tightening operation is performed on several body regions in the same procedure.

Who stands to benefit from a “body lift”?

A “body lift“ is suitable for people who have lost a significant amount of weight (at least 30 kilograms) and who have retained substantial skin sagging.

Which areas of the body can be treated with a “body lift”?

Typical body regions that can be tightened with a “body lift” are the upper arms, chest, abdomen, buttocks and thighs.

How many body regions can be tightened in a single “body lift” procedure?

This cannot be answered in a generalized way, as it very much depends on the characteristics and the general condition of the patient. Here, a detailed analysis and in-person consultation is necessary and essential to minimize potential risks of the procedure.

How long does a “body lift” operation take?

This varies and essentially depends on the number of body regions that you wish to have tightened during a “body lift”. The aim is to keep the procedure as short as possible.

How long is the in-patient stay for a “body lift”?

At Aesthea, the in-patient stay for a “body lift” procedure ranges anywhere from three to five days, depending on the patient and the number of body regions included in the procedure.

How long is bed rest required after “body lift” surgery?

Nowadays, bed rest for several days is no longer necessary. On the contrary, you are encouraged to stand up already on the day of the operation or one day after at the latest. The next day, mobilization will continue, and you will be able to go on first short walks.

How long will I be unable to work?

The time you are unable to work depends primarily on the nature of your occupation. You can resume a clerical/administrative activity after three weeks, physical work after about six to eight weeks. Before any “bodylift” operation, we will advise you individually on the expected period you will be unable to work.
